HERA is the home of women's sport and the culture around it. We bring football, basketball, tennis and more into one feed: the results, the stories behind them and the style, music and fans that surround them.
Editorial guidelines
Facts first
We never invent scores, fixtures or quotes. If we can't verify it, we don't run it.
Credit and link
When we cover someone else's reporting we summarise in our own words, name the publisher and link to the original. We never republish full articles.
Our own voice
HERA editorials are written by our team and published in full, with a byline.
Image rights
We only use photos we own or are licensed to use. No lifted agency or publisher images.
Respect
Women athletes are covered as athletes: performance first, never patronising. Images show skill, creative work and sport in context — never sexualised or body-focused crops.
Corrections
Spot an error? Tell us and we'll fix it quickly and say so.
Sponsorship standards
- Always labelled. Every partnership is marked "Paid partnership with [Brand]" or "Presented by [Brand]". Nothing paid is ever disguised as editorial.
- Editorial independence. Partners never approve, edit or veto HERA journalism, and sponsorship never buys coverage.
- Facts first. We never invent scores, fixtures or quotes. Outside stories are summarised, credited to the publisher and linked.
- Brand fit. We decline betting, tobacco, vaping, payday lending, and anything that talks down to women athletes or fans.
- No personal data sold. Partners get aggregate performance only: views, clicks, click rate. Individual fans are never shared.
Pitch us a story
- Send a two-line summary: what happened, or what the story is, and why it matters now.
- Add who you are, links to any sources, and whether you're offering an interview, data or access.
- Tell us about any embargo. We respect embargoes that are agreed in advance.
- We read every pitch. If it fits, an editor replies within a few working days.
